Amye Saunders

Director of AMIRE, has spent a number of years in the search engine marketing industry working on Australian and global brands in a variety of verticals including finance, insurance, travel, retail and technology.

In addition, she has participated in a number of industry conferences such as Online Marketer, SMX, CeBit and AIMIA. She has built her experience and knowledge from training in all things mainframe (in a time far, far away when card readers and paper tape punches were still being used), tech support, web development and running a small boutique site management and marketing company.

Amye is a successful digital marketer with a strong focus in search, client services and a formidable work ethic. Amye’s recent roles saw her grow to become the Director of SEO at Salmat Digital as well as Director of SEO at Outrider Australia where she remained for over six years.

Sean Rooney

Sean Rooney

Director of AMIRE, has over 12 years in search marketing covering both global and Australian brands such as AAMI, RACV, Suncorp, Expedia, Unilever, Telstra Bigpond, Zuji, P&G and Microsoft.

Prior to his search roles Sean received his BSc (Hons) at the University of Ulster and a Masters in Computing and Information Systems which found him working as a software test engineer. Not one to pass up an opportunity to travel Sean spent some time in America working in web development.

Back to Ireland for a spell where he continued his web development and online marketing, then off to Australia where he decided to focus on search marketing (thank god!).

Sean’s recent roles saw him as the Head of SEO for Outrider, GroupM and 24/7 Real Media spanning 11 years.
